Satcha Pretto is a Honduran journalist and television presenter who is best known for her work on the Spanish-language TV network, Univision. She was born on April 5, 1980, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Pretto began her career in journalism in Honduras, working for various television and radio stations before moving to the United States to pursue further opportunities. She joined Univision in 2003 as a reporter and later became a co-anchor on the network's morning show, "Despierta América."
Pretto has covered a wide range of stories and events during her career, including Hurricane Katrina, the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections, and the earthquake in Haiti. She has received several awards for her work, including an Emmy Award for her coverage of Barack Obama's historic presidential campaign in 2008.
